The Re:turn, a pop-up space and 6-day experiential program curated by ATÖLYE at Dubai Design Week 2021, in Dubai Design District (d3).
Throughout November 8 - 13, ATÖLYE temporarily relocated their studio and community from Emirates Towers to take over a retail space in Dubai Design District (d3) where they hosted 13 talks, panels, and masterclasses led by renowned local and global speakers including Gehl, Saffron, kyu, SYPartners, CEBRA, The Arts Club Dubai, Palmwood, Dubai Future Foundation to name just a few.
Inspired by the belief that we are all creative by nature, each day of The Re:turn represented a different stage of the cyclical creative process — exploring the themes of circular economy, design thinking, architecture, community design, biomimicry (and much more) along the way.
During off-program hours, The Re:turn operated as a communal workspace, for the community to re:claim the space.
